Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is already below MSRP at Amazon
Intel’s Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is already selling below its official price range in the US. A current Amazon deal lists the processor at $279.99 with free shipping.
That puts the CPU $19 below Intel’s $289 to $299 MSRP. The CPU was sold at higher price for quite some time, but looks like the price has already dropped below in just over 2 months. Intel announced the Core Ultra 200S Plus series on March 11, while retail availability followed later in March. The line added the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus to the Arrow Lake desktop platform.
The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is a 24-core desktop processor with 8 Performance cores and 16 Efficient cores. It supports 24 threads, a maximum turbo frequency of 5.5 GHz, 36MB of Intel Smart Cache and DDR5-7200 memory. The processor uses the LGA1851 socket and is compatible with Intel 800-series motherboards.
This is not a large discount, but it is an early one for a recently launched Intel desktop CPU.
