Steam Machine pricing rumors reach new levels
SteamTracking has recorded a small change in Steam’s community JavaScript code. The update adds euro number formatting fields to a currency block, including a comma for decimals and a space as the thousands separator.
This is not an official Steam Machine price leak. The code does not include a product price, SKU, or launch date. It only shows that Steam’s interface can format euro prices with a thousands separator, which would be used for values above 999.

The change appeared in Steam web files after recent work around Valve’s hardware reservation system. Previous SteamTracking findings referenced four Steam Machine package IDs and two Steam Frame packages, along with existing Steam Deck and Steam Controller entries.
Some users now assume the change may be related to a Steam Machine, Steam Frame, or a hardware bundle priced above 1,000 euros. One common theory is a higher-end Steam Machine package with the 2TB configuration and Steam Controller. Another possibility is a larger bundle that includes more than one Valve hardware product. But as mentioned, this is just a theory, and this update may have nothing to do with any of the upcoming hardware releases.
Valve has not announced final pricing for Steam Machine or Steam Frame. The company previously said pricing and launch timing were still being reviewed due to memory and storage cost increases.
