ASUS ROG Certified DDR5 memory list covers ADATA, Corsair, G.SKILL and more
ASUS has published a ROG Certified Products page for DDR5 memory, showing 17 memory entries from 14 DRAM brands. The list includes modules from ADATA, Apacer, ASGARD, BIWIN, Corsair, G.SKILL, GeIL, Kingston, KLEVV, Lexar, Silicon Power, TeamGroup, V-Color and Viper Gaming.
ASUS says the ROG Certified Program covers selected DRAM products tested and validated by ROG engineers. The goal is to confirm compatibility with ROG motherboards and ensure products meet ASUS requirements for compatibility, stability and performance.

Do you actually need ROG-certified memory? Absolutely not, you can use Intel XMP or AMD EXPO memory if you like, but if you are spending thousands of dollars on ASUS ROG system, perhaps picking the certified modules for your rig would make sense. I guess it all depends on how much they will cost.
The company says the program is aimed at gamers and PC builders who want more confidence that memory kits will work properly with ROG systems. ASUS also says it works directly with DRAM partners and industry experts to improve DRAM performance and compatibility across certified products.

ASUS says ROG Certified products are sold through online and retail stores worldwide, but availability may vary by region. The company also says certified products carry a ROG Certified logo on the product and packaging. Some products may also carry the Aura Sync logo if ASUS has confirmed RGB lighting compatibility.
I doubt that’s what the current memory market needs, even more segmentation and certification. Perhaps in a few years?
