MSI Claw 8 AI+ Glacier Blue appears at retail, but Arc G3 model is close
MSI’s Glacier Blue version of the Claw 8 AI+ has started appearing at retail. The new color variant was first shown earlier this year, but it is now listed by LDLC in France as the “MSI Claw 8 AI+ A2VM-246FR Glacier Blue.”
The store lists the handheld at €1,299.95, with stock expected within seven days, on May 21, 2026. This is still the Lunar Lake based Claw 8 AI+, not the next-generation Intel handheld that has been rumored for Computex.

Same hardware, new color
The Glacier Blue model features the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor with Intel Arc graphics, 32GB of LPDDR5X-8533 memory and a 1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD. The device also keeps the 8-inch 1920×1200 touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate and VRR support. The handheld features 80Wh battery, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and two Thunderbolt 4 ports. The main difference is the Glacier Blue chassis, which MSI is now presenting as another color option for the Claw 8 AI+ family.
Arc G3 refresh is almost here
The timing is interesting, because MSI is also expected to launch a new Claw model based on Intel’s Arc G3 platform. A recent Italian retailer listing already pointed to a “Claw 8 EX AI+” with Arc G3 Extreme, 32GB of memory, 1TB of storage and an 8-inch 120Hz display.
That model was listed at €1,599, although it has not been officially announced by MSI yet. Intel has already acknowledged the Arc G3 name, and Computex 2026 is expected to bring more details on the new handheld chips. Since Computex starts in roughly two weeks, perhaps waiting a bit more makes more sense for anyone considering the Glacier Blue model.
