Mirror, mirror on the GPU, who is the prettiest card in the case? GALAX’s RTX 5070 LUNA OC has appeared in a new photo showcase from Chinese media and GALAX, giving us a closer look at the white LUNA design and its reflective backplate.
Although GALAX has been changing operations in some regions, with PR now apparently maintained by its Asia team, the brand is still active in China, speaking in terms of marketing. This is also where the LUNA and NOX designs have received more attention, including earlier mirror-backplate models. Both cards were covered by us many months ago, and both remain exclusive to the Chinese market.

The RTX 5070 LUNA OC uses a white cooler with rounded edges and anime-style design elements. I do not recall any unboxing or reviews of these models, so the new showcase is the first time we see the mirrored rear plate that can reflect RGB lighting inside a case. GALAX also uses a magnetic top cover, so users can remove part of the shroud without screws for cleaning or customization. And I can imagine that a glossy mirror finish will require a lot of cleaning.
The card features 12GB of GDDR7 memory on a 192-bit bus and uses a custom 10+3 phase power design, dual BIOS modes and GALAX’s Magstar MAX cooling module with Frost Ring seven-blade fans. The cooling system also includes nickel-plated heat pipes and a larger heatsink area.
GALAX has not confirmed wider availability for this exact LUNA OC model, so for now it should be treated as a China-market design unless regional listings appear.
