Trump acquires shares in Kura Sushi USA

HOUSTON, Texas -- U.S. President Donald Trump has purchased a stake worth millions of dollars in Kura Sushi USA, an American subsidiary of Japanese sushi chain operator Kura Sushi, according to a recent report released by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics (OGE).

Trump purchased Kura Sushi shares at a price ranging between $1 million and $5 million, the filing said. Kura Sushi USA listed on the Nasdaq exchange in 2019 and operates sushi restaurants in the world's biggest economy.

According to OGE's periodic transaction report published on May 14, Trump bought and sold securities and municipal bonds 3,600 times in the first three months of this year.
