TOKYO -- Brazil is "ready to contribute to the energy safety of Japan" with crude oil exports, Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira told Nikkei on Monday, as the shutdown of the Strait of Hormuz sends the Asian country scrambling for oil from outside the Middle East.
