Intel’s upcoming Crescent Island accelerator has appeared in what is claimed to be the first PCB leak of the card. Images shared by YuuKi_AnS show a PCIe add-in board with a large GPU package area, several LPDDR5X memory sites and a single 16-pin power connector.

Crescent Island is Intel’s next data-center GPU for AI inference, not a consumer Arc graphics card. Intel confirmed the product in October with Xe3P graphics architecture, 160GB of LPDDR5X memory and support for data types used by inference workloads.

The company said the accelerator is designed for air-cooled enterprise servers. Intel also confirmed that customer sampling is planned for the second half of 2026.

The leaked PCB reportedly has 20 LPDDR5X memory sites, with 12 on the front and 8 on the back of the board. If populated with 8GB packages, this would match Intel’s confirmed 160GB capacity. This also shows Intel using LPDDR5X rather than HBM, which should reduce board cost and avoid some supply pressure around HBM memory.

The board also appears to include 18 VRM positions, with 13 of them expected to be populated. A USB Type-C connector is visible on the side of the PCB, apparently for debug or validation. The 16-pin power connector is placed near the rear of the board.

The PCB leak does not confirm final clocks, power limits or performance. Intel has also not announced pricing or launch timing beyond the existing second-half 2026 sampling plan. For now, Crescent Island is Intel’s inference accelerator built around memory capacity and platform cost rather than an HBM-based design.

According to latest rumors, Intel is currently not expected to launch a gaming variant based on this architecture.
