Samsung releases 2026 Odyssey lineup with 6K and OLED models
6K at 165Hz or 3K at 330Hz
Samsung Electronics has launched its 2026 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup. The list includes the Odyssey G8 G80HS, which Samsung calls the industry’s first 6K gaming monitor.
The G80HS is a 32-inch monitor with a 6144×3456 resolution. It supports 165Hz at full 6K resolution or 330Hz in 3K mode through Samsung’s Dual Mode feature. Samsung says the lower-resolution mode is intended for faster games such as FPS and racing titles.
Samsung is also launching the 27-inch Odyssey G8 G80HF. This model uses a 5120×2880 5K panel with up to 180Hz refresh rate. It also supports Dual Mode, dropping to QHD resolution for up to 360Hz.

Both non-OLED Odyssey G8 models include DisplayPort 2.1, NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible certification and AMD FreeSync Premium support. Samsung also lists HDR10+ GAMING support, though the company notes that it requires HDMI 2.1 and an NVIDIA or Intel graphics card.
OLED 2026 lineup
Samsung is also releasing new OLED models. The Odyssey OLED G8 G80SH will ship in 27-inch and 32-inch versions with 3840×2160 resolution and up to 240Hz refresh rate. Both include Glare Free coating, DisplayPort 2.1 and 98W USB-C charging. Samsung says these models use QD-OLED Penta Tandem technology.
The Odyssey OLED G7 G73SH is a 32-inch 4K OLED model with up to 165Hz refresh rate. It also supports Dual Mode, switching to FHD at up to 330Hz. Samsung’s Korean launch pricing starts at 1.19 million won for the 27-inch 5K G80HF and goes up to 1.89 million won for the 32-inch 6K G80HS.
Samsung will offer launch benefits in South Korea from May 20 to May 31. Buyers will receive three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The US press release did not include pricing.
