AMD confirms Ryzen AI Max PRO 400 lineup, only three SKUs
Following yesterday’s leak , AMD has now confirmed the full specifications for its Ryzen AI Max PRO 400 series, the workstation and commercial PC refresh of its Ryzen AI Max platform. The new lineup includes three SKUs: Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495, Ryzen AI Max PRO 490 and Ryzen AI Max PRO 485. So yes, that’s PRO series only.
All three processors support up to 192GB of unified memory. AMD also confirms that systems based on this platform can allocate up to 160GB as VRAM. The company says the processors will be used in commercial AI PCs, mobile workstations and small form-factor desktop systems.
Radeon 8065S
Contrary to earlier leaks, the Radeon 8065S graphics update is limited to the Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495. This flagship SKU has 16 Zen 5 cores, 32 threads, 80MB of cache and 40 RDNA 3.5 Compute Units. The iGPU upgrade here means 100 MHz higher clock, it’s the first Halo with 3.0 GHz clock.

The Ryzen AI Max PRO 490 and Ryzen AI Max PRO 485 both use Radeon 8050S graphics with 32 Compute Units. AMD also confirms that these two SKUs do not reach 55 TOPS on the NPU. The 490 and 485 are listed with up to 50 TOPS, while the 495 reaches up to 55 TOPS.
Coming third quarter
The company also confirmed that Ryzen AI Max PRO 400 systems will launch in the third quarter of 2026 through OEM partners. HP and Lenovo are already named by AMD as partners for the platform.

This follows AMD’s Ryzen AI Halo developer platform announcement. The current Ryzen AI Halo system uses Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with up to 128GB of memory, while the next-generation platform will move to Ryzen AI Max PRO 400 with higher clocks, up to 192GB of unified memory and up to 160GB of VRAM.
