ASUS TUF GAMING Z890-BTF WIFI7 confirmed with four M.2 slots
ASUS has listed a new Intel Z890 motherboard under its TUF Gaming series. The TUF GAMING Z890-BTF WIFI7 is now shown on the company’s official website, confirming that ASUS is preparing another LGA1851 board with its hidden-connector layout. The dedicated product page is live, but the full specification page does not appear to be publicly exposed yet.
The board uses the Intel Z890 chipset and supports Intel Core Ultra 200 desktop processors on the LGA1851 socket. ASUS lists it as an ATX motherboard with a hidden-connector design and a graphics card high-power slot. This means the board should support ASUS BTF graphics cards through the rear-side cable layout and GC-HPWR connector, reducing visible cabling in compatible cases.

According to ASUS, the TUF GAMING Z890-BTF WIFI7 has a 16+1+2+1 80A DrMOS power stage design. The board supports DDR5 memory, a PCIe 5.0 x16 SafeSlot with PCIe Q-Release, and four M.2 slots. One of those M.2 slots supports PCIe 5.0. The board also includes DisplayPort and HDMI outputs for integrated graphics.

This is the second ASUS Z890 BTF board confirmed for Intel’s current desktop platform. ASUS already sells the ROG Maximus Z890 Hero BTF , which is a higher-end model with a 22+1+2+2 power stage design and a GC-HPWR slot. ASUS previously said its Advanced BTF design can deliver up to 600W to compatible BTF graphics cards through the motherboard.
ASUS has not confirmed pricing or regional availability for the TUF GAMING Z890-BTF WIFI7 yet.
