Winhanced adds Legion Go 2 support and expands Smart Profiles

Legion Go 2 support arrives in Winhanced update

Smart Profiles apply game and device settings with one tap.

Winhanced, a tool we recently covered ,  has been updated with support for Lenovo Legion Go 2 . The software is basically a replacment for Xbox mode with more features. The new build adds the handheld to the official supported device list and reportedly improves game launch and close times.

This is useful because many Windows handheld settings depend on the device. TDP limits, power profiles, resolution shortcuts and fan behavior can vary between models. With Legion Go 2 support, Winhanced can treat Lenovo’s newer handheld as a known device instead of a generic Windows PC.

Smart Profiles

Smart Profiles are pre-made game settings for handhelds. They can apply graphics settings, resolution, upscaling, TDP and related device settings with one tap.

According to developer 0degreez, the feature started as a way to match in-game settings with handheld and GPU settings. It has since become a community feature, where users can share configurations and others can apply them directly.

The Smart Profiles list now includes 25 games. The list includes Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, Baldur’s Gate 3, Black Myth: Wukong, Helldivers 2, Forza Horizon 6, Monster Hunter Wilds and Red Dead Redemptio.

Forza Horizon 6 already has multiple profiles across Steam and Xbox versions. This update makes Winhanced more useful for users who want a controller-first launcher on Windows handhelds. The app keeps Windows compatibility but adds a console-like interface and per-game performance controls.

Keep in mind, the changes mentioned here are for the upcoming version “0.9.7.6”, which will be available to Patreon users first. It will later become available to everyone.
