AORUS Taiwan shows RTX 5090 INFINITY cooling layout and fan speeds

Gigabyte’s AORUS Taiwan channel has published a closer look at the AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 INFINITY 32 G, including cooler details and FurMark2 stress test numbers. This is the same flagship model that was showcased a few months ago as one of the semi-custom variants based on NVIDIA RTX 5090 Founders Edition PCB design (there’s also the RTX 5090 ProArt ).

Hidden third fan for peak load

The INFINITY model uses a 3.5-slot cooler with two large visible fans and one hidden fan in the center of the card. According to the video, the two main fans operate between 1000 and 3000 RPM. The middle fan can reach 4000 RPM and is designed to engage under heavier GPU load.

AORUS Taiwan also confirms the use of an NVIDIA Founders Edition PCB, measuring 134.5 × 121.4 mm. Gigabyte’s own specification page lists the full card at 330 × 145 × 65 mm, with a single 16-pin power connector and a recommended 1000W power supply. The card also has three DisplayPort 2.1b ports and one HDMI 2.1b connector.

The company calls this cooler WINDFORCE HYPERBURST. Gigabyte says the design uses two flow-through cooling sections and an Overdrive fan hidden in the middle of the card. The visible fans use Gigabyte’s Hawk fan design, which the company says improves air pressure by up to 53.6% and airflow by up to 12.5% compared with its previous design.

In AORUS Taiwan’s FurMark2 test, the card was tested at 2160p with 0xAA for 30 minutes. With all three fans running at around 2700 RPM, the GPU reached 77°C, while the memory temperature was reported at 72°C. The system measured 46 dB with the side panel closed.

Gigabyte’s official specifications list a 2730 MHz boost clock for the RTX 5090 INFINITY, compared with 2407 MHz for the reference card. The card uses 21760 CUDA cores and 32GB of GDDR7 memory on a 512-bit bus. Pricing has not yet been announced.
