MSI’s limited Star Wars RTX 5080 listed in UK for £1,369.99, but some lucky gamers can own it for free
NVIDIA GeForce UK has started a giveaway for MSI’s GeForce RTX 5080 16G The Mandalorian and Grogu Edition OC. The campaign is tied to the theatrical release of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu and appears to offer one card through NVIDIA’s UK social channels.
MSI confirmed earlier this month that this model is limited to 500 units across Europe. The card launched on May 22 through selected European resellers and the MSI e-shop.
Only one GPU can be won
To enter, users need to follow NVIDIA GeForce UK and MSI UK, repost the post on X or like it on Facebook, then comment with their favourite character and the hashtag “#TheMandalorianandGrogu”. NVIDIA also links to MSI-hosted terms and conditions for the giveaway.
The card itself is based on the GeForce RTX 5080 with 10,752 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 memory. MSI lists a 2700 MHz boost clock, or up to 2715 MHz through MSI Center’s Extreme Performance mode. The design includes TRI FROZR 4 cooling, STORMFORCE fans, a metal backplate, Dual BIOS, RGB lighting, magnetic mini-backplates and a Grogu GPU support stand.
Scan UK currently lists the MSI GeForce RTX 5080 The Mandalorian and Grogu Edition OC as a Scan exclusive at £1,369.99. This gives the giveaway a retail reference point for the UK market, where the card is already listed as in stock at the time of checking.
