Radeon RX 9070 XT drops to record low in Japan, now around $551

Japan gets Radeon RX 9070 XT cards below ¥90,000

Two standard models hit ¥87,800.

AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT has reached a new low price in Japan, according to GAZLOG. The card is now listed from ¥87,800, which puts it below the ¥90,000 level for the first time.

At current mid-market rates, ¥87,800 converts to about $551 or €475 . If Japanese 10% consumption tax is removed for rough comparison, the price is about $501 or €432. This is only a currency conversion and does not reflect US or EU retail pricing. It’s worth adding that the RX 9070 XT launched in Japan at around ¥112,980/137,800 (depending on the model), which means the current price is 22-30% lower.

The two models listed at the record low price are the Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 9070 XT and ASRock Radeon RX 9070 XT Challenger. Both are standard-clock models based on Navi 48 with 16GB memory, a 2,970 MHz boost clock and 304W board power.

GAZLOG says the previous low was ¥89,800 in late April. The site also notes that Japanese GPU sale prices can return to earlier levels within days or a week, so this may be a limited-time or limited-stock offer.
