MSI edges AOC/Philips as OLED monitor shipments rise 78%
QD-OLED supply boosts shipments.

TrendForce reports that global OLED monitor shipments rose 78% year over year in the first quarter of 2026. The growth was linked mainly to wider QD-OLED panel availability, which allowed more brands to increase shipments.
The quarter was still weaker than Q4 2025. TrendForce says shipments fell 11% quarter over quarter due to normal first-quarter seasonality. The company also says late-2025 promotions pulled some demand forward.
ASUS remained the largest OLED monitor brand in Q1 2026 with a 24% share. TrendForce links this to the company’s wide OLED lineup, which includes gaming, creator and portable displays. ASUS also introduced a 34-inch 360Hz gaming monitor and a 16-inch portable OLED during the quarter.

Samsung ranked second with a 16.4% share. The company continues to benefit from its own QD-OLED panel supply. TrendForce also points to Samsung’s 27-inch QHD 180Hz OLED model as one of the products supporting its shipments.
MSI took third place with 12.2%, narrowly ahead of AOC/Philips at 12.1%. MSI expanded across both commercial and gaming OLED monitors, while AOC/Philips focused mainly on 27-inch QHD models. LG Electronics ranked fifth with 9.1%, with ultra-wide monitors accounting for around 40% of its OLED shipments in Q1.
TrendForce previously reported that OLED monitor shipments reached 2.735 million units in 2025, up 92% year over year. The research firm expects shipments to grow another 51% in 2026.
