AOC and BOE show AGON PRO AGP257FT with 0.2ms GTG response time
AOC’s gaming brand AGON has introduced the AGON PRO AGP257FT, a new esports monitor based on BOE’s native FHD 1000Hz panel. The product was shown during BOE’s native 1000fps technology event, where TPV Technology and BOE also announced a joint display laboratory.
The AGP257FT uses a 1920×1080 panel that runs at 1000Hz without dropping to a lower resolution. AOC lists a 0.2ms GTG response time, BLMB black frame insertion, ADS PRO wide viewing angle technology, 99% sRGB coverage and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification.
AGON also points to EyeCare Circular Polarized Eye Protection Technology. According to the company, the feature is designed to reduce eye strain by changing how polarized light reaches the viewer. The monitor also supports low blue light and flicker-free modes.

LG already announced its 1000Hz monitor
The AGP257FT arrives shortly after LG announced the UltraGear 25G590B , another 24.5-inch FHD monitor with a native 1000Hz refresh rate. LG says its model will launch in select markets in the second half of 2026, with pricing still unconfirmed.
This separates the new AOC and LG models from earlier 1000Hz-class displays. Philips Evnia 27M2N5500XD and AOC AGON Pro AGP277QK use dual-mode panels that run at 1440p up to 500Hz or 540Hz, then switch to 1280×720 for 1000Hz . HKC’s ANTGAMER ANT275PQ MAX goes higher at 1080Hz, but also drops to 720p in its fastest mode.
AOC has not yet confirmed global pricing or availability for the AGON PRO AGP257FT. The current announcement only confirms the model, panel type and core specifications tied to the BOE native 1000Hz platform.
