GeForce 610.47 driver adds early DLSS 5 Neural Rendering flags
Driver profiles mention DLSS-NR, but the feature cannot be forced in games yet.
NVIDIA has released GeForce Game Ready Driver 610.47 , a new WHQL driver optimized for 007 First Light and LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. The same release also retires the classic NVIDIA Control Panel for GeForce Game Ready and Studio Driver users, with NVIDIA App now taking over supported settings.
There are more changes in the new driver
There is also a driver-side change not listed in NVIDIA’s public notes. User Warkratos discovered that new DLSS 5 profile entries have appeared in the latest driver and can be seen through NVIDIA Profile Inspector. The entries are listed as “ DLSS-NR,” “DLSS-NR Streamline,” and “DLSS-NR Presets.”

The “NR” part most likely refers to Neural Rendering, which is how NVIDIA has been presenting DLSS 5 since its GTC 2026 reveal. These entries do not make DLSS 5 usable in current games. Even when enabled through profile tools, they do not force DLSS 5 effects in existing titles. NVIDIA has not yet shipped any DLSS5 files to use these flags.
NVIDIA said the next DLSS upgrade uses a real-time neural rendering model to add lighting and material response to game frames. The company later clarified that DLSS 5 takes a rendered 2D frame and motion vectors as input, while materials are inferred from that frame.
While this does not mean DLSS 5 can be used today, it suggests the 600-series driver branch will introduce support later this year. NVIDIA has not confirmed a date or hardware support. Given the early demo requirements, RTX 50 exclusivity seems possible, although this remains unconfirmed. The last demo reportedly required two GeForce RTX 5090 cards, but NVIDIA is aiming to make the model run on a single GPU.
