PowerColor teases Radiant Room backplates for Computex
PowerColor is heading to Computex with what it calls “The Radiant Room,” a showcase for a new type of graphics card backplate. According to the company’s own description, this is a “first-of-its-kind” backplate design that can “ remain invisible under normal light ” and reveal hidden artwork only under specific lighting conditions. What are those conditions, I have no clue because the press release does not explain it.
The company does not appear to have listed Radiant Room backplates on its website yet. There is no product page, no model list, and no compatibility information. From the short PR description, it is hard to tell whether these are replacement backplates or some kind of magnetic cover attached to existing cards.

PowerColor has many custom backplates
PowerColor has already sold custom backplates in the past, so the idea is not coming from nowhere. The company previously offered swappable backplates for Red Devil cards, and the Radeon RX 9070 XT Red Devil Special Edition used magnetically attached “Devil Skin” covers. The Hellhound REVA Edition also shipped with a magnetic backplate, so Radiant Room may be an extension of that accessory idea rather than a new GPU series.

The rest of the Computex PR does not mention new Radeon graphics cards. PowerColor only says that its full graphics card family will be shown, including Red Devil, Spectral White, Reva Edition, Hellhound, and Reaper.
The only other new hardware mention appears to be a MAX 395 PC based on AMD’s Strix Halo platform, but that system was not pictured in the materials we received. Well, to be honest with you, PowerColor Computex teaser looks a bit underwhelming; perhaps that’s not all they have in store. We will see.
