Bleu Jour Kubb Fanless mini PC gets Core Ultra X7 358H

Bleu Jour has updated its Kubb Fanless mini PC with Intel’s Core Ultra X7 358H processor. This is one of Intel’s high-end Panther Lake mobile chips, and the configuration is now available through the company’s configurator.
The option itself is good. The Core Ultra X7 358H is a 16-core processor with 4 Performance cores, 8 Efficient cores and 4 Low Power Efficient cores. It boosts up to 4.8 GHz and includes Intel Arc B390 graphics with the full 12 Xe3 core configuration. Intel also lists a 50 TOPS NPU for this SKU.

That makes this a much more interesting option than many passive mini PCs, which usually ship with lower-power parts and much weaker integrated graphics. Intel’s own specs list the processor at 25W base power and up to 80W maximum turbo power, although sustained clocks in a fanless chassis will depend on Bleu Jour’s thermal limits.

The Kubb Fanless keeps the same 120 × 120 × 120 mm aluminum cube design. Bleu Jour uses the chassis itself as the cooling system, with vertical fins used to increase surface area for passive heat dissipation. The system also includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, dual 2.5GbE, two HDMI 2.1 ports, USB4/Thunderbolt 4 and Windows 11 Pro.
Panther Lake starts at €1850
The problem is the price. The base Kubb Fanless starts at €1,495, while the Core Ultra X7 358H option adds €355. That brings the configuration to €1,850 before any memory or storage upgrades. That is a huge price for a mini PC with integrated graphics, even if the design is fully passive and the processor option is one of the better Panther Lake configurations.

KUBB also lists up to 64GB DDR5-6400 through the current configurator, while the technical section mentions higher memory support for the Ultra X7 model. Buyers can also upgrade storage from the standard 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD to 2TB or 4TB. At that point, however, the price moves even further away from regular mini PCs and into premium small-form-factor territory.
