The first Intel Wildcat Lake laptops just hit the shelves, featuring the slowest processor in the lineup coupled with 12 GB + 256 GB configuration.
Intel's Wildcat Lake-based laptops have started appearing at various retailers, and one of the first to appear for pre-order is a laptop from THT, which is a Chinese brand. The laptop was seen on JD.com, a popular online retailer that is usually one of the first retailers to see new hardware launches.
As per the listing, the THT 14SE laptop is powered by the Intel Core 3 304, which is the slowest Wildcat Lake processor, featuring a 1+4 core configuration as a result of 1x Cougar Cove Performance core + 4x Darkmont LP-E cores. This processor has been spotted in various listings, including Beelink mini PCs and some laptop listings. The THT laptop is aimed at light workloads as it is a thin and lightweight laptop, ideal for office, study, and entertainment.
The detail reveals a 14-inch 1200p resolution display that runs at a 60 Hz refresh rate. For memory and storage, it is equipped with a 12 GB + 256 GB configuration. It's pretty basic, and we have seen similar configurations on previous Wildcat Lake laptop listings, but with more storage. As can be seen from the product page, the laptop will be available in a 16 GB + 512 GB configuration as well for those who do not want to compromise on the RAM and storage.
The price for the laptop is 3,499 Yuan , which translates to around US$515 . This is even lower than one of the Wildcat Lake lapto p listings we recently spotted, but with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage, the price would go above $600. Some Wildcat Lake laptops have been spotted for as low as $449 recently, which puts them against the MacBook Neo laptop, but the Intel-based laptops offer a better RAM-storage configuration for the same price.
