Gigabyte reportedly working on RTX 5080 AORUS Infinity Wood graphics card

Gigabyte registers more AORUS Infinity RTX 50 graphics cards

To Infinity and… wood.

Gigabyte may be preparing a wider AORUS Infinity lineup. A new Russian-language product entry lists multiple GeForce RTX 50 cards under GIGABYTE and AORUS brands, including several “AORUS IF” models. The “IF” suffix is already used by the AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 Infinity 32G. Gigabyte lists that card as “ GV-N5090AORUS IF-32GD ” on its official website.

AORUS Infinity may move below RTX 5090

The same entry includes apparent AORUS Infinity variants for RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5070, RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060. One model stands out: “ GV-N5080AORUSIF WD-16GD. ” According to Richard Huynh, this SKU is “Infinity Wood,” which would make it another RTX 5080 AORUS Infinity-related model.

Until now, the Infinity design has been tied to the RTX 5090 model. We already covered the RTX 5090 AORUS Infinity launch, which uses a 2730 MHz boost clock, 32GB of GDDR7 memory on a 512-bit bus and Gigabyte’s WINDFORCE HYPERBURST cooler with two visible fans and a hidden center fan.

`GV-5080NAORUSIF WD 16GD` is "Infinity Wood", if I remember correctly.

I had to walk away for a while when told about this SKU. To laugh.

5060's listed there are the ones with the GB205 dies.

Huynh also claims the RTX 5060 models listed there are based on GB205 dies. Gigabyte’s public product pages do not mention GPU die names though, but we do know that such variants exist thanks to other leaks .

There is no pricing or release date for the unannounced AORUS Infinity models. It is also unclear which SKUs are planned for global retail and which may remain regional variants or registration placeholders.
