Thunderobot lists next-gen AMD Medusa SoCs for AI Master D workstations

Thunderobot has shown an AI workstation product roadmap that includes AMD’s unreleased Medusa Point and Medusa Halo platforms. The company presented the slide during a launch event in China, where it grouped future systems into AI Master T tower, AI Master D mini, and AI Master M mobile workstation lines.

Thunderobot lists Strix Halo and Gorgon Halo systems for clusters, while the same row also references Medusa Point. The report also mentions Medusa Halo, which suggests the company is planning next-gen Zen 6 based mini workstation products beyond Ryzen AI Max 400.

Thunderobot has not shared specifications, launch timing, or product images for these Medusa systems. The slide only shows how the company is mapping its mini workstation line around AMD’s current and future AI PC SoCs.
According to current leaks, Medusa Point 1 is expected to use a 4P + 4D + 2LP-E CPU layout and an 8 CU RDNA-class integrated GPU. Medusa Halo is rumored to scale higher with a larger integrated GPU and up to two 12-core CPU dies. AMD has not confirmed these specifications.
The same slide also shows AI Master T tower workstations based on Threadripper PRO 9995WX with four Radeon AI PRO R9700 cards, Threadripper 9980X with two Radeon AI PRO R9700 cards, and Ryzen 9 9950X3D with one Radeon AI PRO R9700 card. For mobile systems, Thunderobot lists Strix Halo and Gorgon Halo alongside AMD and NVIDIA gaming or AI notebooks.
