ONEXPLAYER has announced two new Windows handhelds, both built around an 8.8-inch OLED display and detachable controller design

The new devices are the ONEXPLAYER 3 and ONEXPLAYER X2 Mini Pro. Both are described as 3-in-1 handhelds, with support for handheld, tablet and laptop-style use. ONEXPLAYER 3 is based on Intel Arc G3 Extreme graphics, while X2 Mini Pro uses AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 platform.
Two high-end handhelds, two different platforms
ONEXPLAYER 3 is the company’s first device confirmed with Intel Arc G3 Extreme graphics. The device uses an 8.8-inch native landscape OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, VRR and HDR support. It also has an 85Wh internal battery, detachable controllers, Hall Effect joysticks, rear buttons, USB4, USB-A, mini SSD expansion, MicroSD and a 3.5mm audio jack.

ONEXPLAYER X2 Mini Pro uses AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395, the same Strix Halo-class platform already used or announced for other high-end handheld and compact gaming devices. This APU combines a 16-core Zen 5 CPU with 40 RDNA 3.5 compute units and a 50 TOPS XDNA 2 NPU. ONEXPLAYER claims up to 126 TOPS INT8 combined AI performance.

The X2 Mini Pro also uses an 8.8-inch native landscape OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and VRR support. Unlike ONEXPLAYER 3, this model supports the Frost Bay external liquid cooling system, which allows up to 120W peak performance. It also supports an external 85Wh swappable battery system.
Both devices support optional magnetic backlit keyboards and detachable controllers. X2 Mini Pro adds redesigned controllers with adjustable triggers and interchangeable D-pad options, while ONEXPLAYER 3 is positioned more as a gaming and productivity handheld with an integrated 85Wh battery.
ONEXPLAYER says both models will launch through Indiegogo. The ONEXPLAYER X2 Mini Pro campaign is scheduled for mid June 2026, while the ONEXPLAYER 3 campaign is planned for mid-to-late June 2026. Pricing has not been announced.
