Intel Arc G3 handhelds to launch from June 2026
Intel announces Arc G-Series processors for Windows gaming handhelds.

Intel has officially announced the Arc G-Series, a new processor family for Windows gaming handhelds. The lineup starts with Arc G3 and Arc G3 Extreme processors, both based on the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 platform, also known as Panther Lake.
The company says the first handhelds using Arc G-Series processors will come from Acer, MSI and OneXPlayer. Intel specifically mentions the Acer Predator Atlas 8, MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ and OneXPlayer as the first partner systems. Availability is expected to begin in June 2026, with more models planned later this year.

Arc G-Series uses Intel’s latest Xe3 graphics architecture. The platform supports up to Arc B390 graphics, real-time ray tracing and XeSS 3. Intel says XeSS 3 combines Super Resolution, Multi-Frame Generation and Xe Low Latency to improve frame rates and reduce input latency.
Intel also confirmed a 14-core CPU layout with 2 P-Cores, 8 E-Cores and 4 LP E-Cores. The chips are manufactured on Intel 18A. The platform also includes Intel Wi-Fi 7 R2, dual Bluetooth 6 and Thunderbolt 4 with up to 40 Gbps bandwidth.

For Windows handhelds, Intel is adding support for Xbox mode, a full-screen controller-focused interface for Windows 11 PCs. The company is also introducing Intel Precompiled Shaders, which downloads prebuilt shader files from Intel’s cloud for select games to reduce shader compilation delays.
