TOKYO -- Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has struggled to ease concerns over the supply of naphtha, a key petrochemical input for plastics, since U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran on Feb. 28, even as she has moved to boost supplies from outside the Middle East.
