BENGALURU -- Japanese steelmakers are accelerating investments in India, with major producers including JFE Steel, Nippon Steel and Sumitomo deepening cooperation with local companies as they look to tap a market growing faster than any other in the world and their Indian partners seek to curb import dependencies.
