Alienware launches four new 30-inch-plus gaming monitors

Alienware is bringing four new gaming monitors to Computex 2026, including the AW3926QW, a 39-inch 5K OLED model that Dell calls the first 39-inch 5K OLED gaming monitor with RGB stripe technology. The lineup also includes the AW3426DW, a 34-inch 280Hz QD-OLED ultrawide, and two 240Hz VA LCD models, the AW3426DWM and AW3226DM. The AW3926QW had already appeared in certification last month, but Dell has now confirmed the full monitor lineup.

39-inch 5K OLED with 165Hz and 330Hz modes

The Alienware AW3926QW is the flagship model in the new lineup. It uses a 38.9-inch 5120×2160 ultrawide OLED panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio, 1500R curvature, four-stack RGB stripe tandem OLED technology and 99% DCI-P3 color coverage. Dell lists 300 cd/m² typical brightness and 1,300 cd/m² HDR peak brightness at 3% APL. The monitor supports 165Hz at native 5K2K resolution over DisplayPort, while its dual-resolution mode increases the refresh rate to 330Hz at 2560×1080. There are also smaller esports view modes, including 24.5-inch 1520×855 and 27-inch 1680×945 modes at 330Hz.

The AW3926QW also includes DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20, two HDMI 2.1 FRL ports, USB-C with DisplayPort 2.1 Alt Mode and up to 90W power delivery, USB KVM, Dolby Vision, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible support and VESA AdaptiveSync. Dell says pricing will be announced closer to launch. Availability starts in late June 2026 in select Asian markets, with North America and Europe planned for fall.

34-inch QD-OLED moves to 280Hz

The Alienware AW3426DW is a new 34-inch 3440×1440 QD-OLED ultrawide with a 21:9 aspect ratio and 1800R curve. It uses a 5-stack QD-OLED Penta Tandem panel with a new V-stripe RGB subpixel layout, which Dell says is meant to improve text clarity compared to earlier QD-OLED panels. The new panel is rated for 300 cd/m² typical brightness and 1,300 cd/m² HDR peak brightness at 3% APL.

Compared with the previous AW3425DW, the new AW3426DW raises the refresh rate from 240Hz to 280Hz, peak brightness from 1,000 nits to 1,300 nits and typical brightness from 250 nits to 300 nits. It also moves from VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 to True Black 500 with Dolby Vision. Dell says the new anti-reflective coating reduces reflectance from 1.0% to 0.7%. Pricing will be announced later, while global availability is planned for July.

34-inch 240Hz ultrawide VA model for $399.99

The Alienware AW3426DWM is a 34-inch 3440×1440 ultrawide LCD model with a VA panel, 1500R curvature and 240Hz refresh rate. It supports a 1ms gray-to-gray response time in Extreme mode, AMD FreeSync Premium, VESA AdaptiveSync, Dolby Vision and VESA DisplayHDR 400. Dell also lists 95% DCI-P3 color coverage, 400 cd/m² typical SDR brightness and 450 cd/m² HDR 400 brightness.

The monitor uses the same Interstellar Indigo color as the other non-flagship models and includes two HDMI 2.1 FRL ports, DisplayPort 1.4, USB Type-B upstream, USB Type-A downstream and a USB-C 5Gbps downstream port with 15W charging. The AW3426DWM will be available globally in July 2026 for $399.99.

32-inch 240Hz QHD VA model for $299.99

The Alienware AW3226DM is the 32-inch model in the lineup. It uses a 31.5-inch 2560×1440 VA panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio, 1500R curvature and 240Hz refresh rate. The core display specs are similar to the 34-inch LCD model, including 1ms gray-to-gray response time in Extreme mode, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 95% DCI-P3 color coverage, Dolby Vision, VESA DisplayHDR 400, AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA AdaptiveSync.

Dell is pricing the AW3226DM at $299.99, making it the cheapest monitor in the new Computex lineup. It is also set for global availability in July 2026. Unlike the OLED models, the AW3226DM and AW3426DWM do not include OLED burn-in coverage because they use VA LCD panels.
