GIGABYTE BRIX mini PC supports up to 128GB DDR5-6400 memory
GIGABYTE has announced the GB-BRU9-386H, a new BRIX Mainstream mini PC based on Intel Core Ultra Series 3. The system uses the Core Ultra 9 386H, a Panther Lake processor made on Intel 18A. GIGABYTE is targeting enterprise edge deployments, including healthcare, surveillance, factories, robotics, and retail systems.
The new BRIX uses a 0.46-liter chassis with a 35 mm profile. The product page lists dual HDMI 2.1 outputs, dual USB4 Type-C ports with DisplayPort Alt Mode, three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, 2.5GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 7, VESA support, and support for up to four 4K displays.
The Core Ultra 9 386H is a 16-core processor with 4 Performance cores, 8 Efficient cores, and 4 Low Power Efficient cores. Intel Graphics is listed with up to 40 TOPS, while the NPU reaches up to 50 TOPS. This is the smaller Panther Lake graphics configuration with four Xe3 cores, not the larger Arc B390 configuration used by some other Core Ultra Series 3 SKUs.
Memory support depends on the configuration. GIGABYTE lists two SO-DIMM DDR5 slots at up to 5600 MT/s and 96GB, or two CSO-DIMM DDR5 slots at up to 6400 MT/s and 128GB. Storage is handled by two M.2 NVMe SSD slots.
