AMD Radeon RX 9070 GRE launches globally at $549 with 12GB memory
Same launch price as RX 9070.

AMD has confirmed the global launch of the Radeon RX 9070 GRE, a 12GB RDNA 4 graphics card that was previously limited to China. The card will be available from board partners starting June 2 with a suggested etail price of $549.
This confirms our earlier report about AMD preparing the RX 9070 GRE for a global launch. The final price is also unchanged from what we reported, although AMD’s official Computex post now lists June 2 availability rather than June 1.
Cut-down Navi 48 with 12GB memory
The Radeon RX 9070 GRE uses a cut-down Navi 48 GPU with 48 Compute Units and 3,072 Stream Processors. It has 12GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit bus and a boost clock up to 2.79 GHz. The card is rated at 220W board power.

AMD is now placing the RX 9070 GRE directly in the $549 slot. This is the same launch MSRP as the Radeon RX 9070, although the non-GRE model has 16GB of memory, a 256-bit bus and more enabled cores. AMD’s own comparison material now uses higher current retail pricing for the RX 9070, which suggests the GRE is entering the lineup as a lower-cost alternative only under current market pricing.

AMD slides compare the card against the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB and claimed up to 22% higher performance across more than 40 raster and ray tracing games. These are AMD-provided numbers, so independent reviews should provide a clearer view of where the card lands.
ASUS, Sapphire and XFX have already been tied to the global rollout through retail listings. The known models include ASUS PRIME RX 9070 GRE O12G, Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 9070 GRE Gaming OC 12GB and XFX Swift Radeon RX 9070 GRE Triple Fan cards, including a white variant.
