AORUS GeForce RTX 5080 INFINITY gets WOOD and standard variants
GIGABYTE is bringing the AORUS INFINITY design to more GeForce RTX 50 graphics cards. Promo images show new INFINITY models based on GeForce RTX 5080, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and GeForce RTX 5070.
The GeForce RTX 5080 is the only card shown in two versions. One is the standard AORUS GeForce RTX 5080 INFINITY with a black and silver design. The second is the AORUS GeForce RTX 5080 INFINITY WOOD, a white model with wood-style accents.

INFINITY goes mid-range
The RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 are shown only as standard INFINITY models. Based on the promo images, both cards use the same black and silver styling as the non-WOOD RTX 5080 model. No RTX 5070 Ti WOOD or RTX 5070 WOOD variant has been shown so far.
We have already covered the AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 INFINITY , GIGABYTE’s 40th anniversary model with a 2730 MHz boost clock. The new RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 INFINITY cards move the branding below the flagship model.
Founders PCB is no longer used
The biggest change compared with the RTX 5090 INFINITY is the PCB design. The new cards appear to use regular rectangular PCBs. These are still custom designs, but they do not follow the more unusual board layout used by the RTX 5090 model. The 5090 is using NVIDIA Founders Edition PCB, which made a lot of sense given the design of this card.
But the 5080/5070 INFINITY PCB is not standard either. It appears to use a hidden power connector design. This should keep the cable out of direct view once installed, although AORUS has not yet shared full product specifications, board renders or connector placement diagrams.
