MSI RTX 5090 GAMING TRIO Next-Gen aims for lower noise
MSI is preparing a new GeForce RTX 5090 GAMING TRIO model. The GeForce RTX 5090 32G GAMING TRIO Next-Gen apparently has nothing to do with NVIDIA’s next-gen architecture.
According to MSI, the new model improves the cooling design. The company says the card is designed for quieter operation under low loads and lower temperatures when the GPU is under full load.

So this sounds like a thermal refresh rather than a new GPU configuration. MSI does not mention changes to the GPU, memory capacity, display outputs or power connector layout. The card still uses the GeForce RTX 5090 GPU with 32GB of memory, based on the official model name.
MSI has not yet published a separate product page for the GAMING TRIO Next-Gen. The current GeForce RTX 5090 GAMING TRIO OC uses MSI’s TRI FROZR 4 cooling system and STORMFORCE fans. That model lists a 2497 MHz Extreme Performance clock through MSI Center and a 2482 MHz boost clock in Gaming and Silent modes.

The Next-Gen model could replace or sit above the existing GAMING TRIO design, but pricing and availability are not listed yet. NVIDIA’s showcase only confirms the card as one of MSI’s new RTX 5090 partner models for COMPUTEX 2026.
