CONTROL Resonant lists GTX 1070 minimum, RTX 3070 recommended

100GB SSD required, full performance targets coming later.

Remedy has shared the first PC requirements for CONTROL Resonant. The game is scheduled to launch on September 24, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with pre-orders now open.

The PC list starts with Windows 10/11 64-bit, 16GB of RAM and 100GB of SSD storage. The minimum GPU requirement is a GeForce GTX 1070 or Radeon RX 5600 XT with 6GB VRAM. The CPU target is Core i5-8500 or an AMD equivalent.

Recommended hardware moves to a Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel equivalent and a GeForce RTX 3070 or Radeon RX 6700 XT with 8GB VRAM. The RAM and storage requirements stay the same between both tiers, so the next update should clarify resolution, frame rate and graphics settings.

First Control game recommended GPUs: GTX 1660/Radeon RX 580

The first Control PC requirements included Core i5-4690 or FX-4350, GTX 780 or Radeon R9 280X, 8GB RAM and 42GB storage as the minimum PC configuration. Recommended specs list Core i5-7600K or Ryzen 5 1600X, GTX 1660/GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 580, and 16GB RAM.

This means CONTROL Resonant doubles the minimum RAM requirement and increases storage from 42GB to 100GB. It also drops Windows 7 support and moves the minimum GPU tier from older Kepler/GCN cards to GTX 1070 and RX 5600 XT class hardware.
