Bosgame VTA-439 brings Ryzen AI 400 series to mini PCs with OCuLink

Bosgame has listed the VTA-439, a new mini PC based on AMD’s Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 processor. The system is currently listed with 32GB of DDR5 SO-DIMM memory and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Bosgame’s store shows a $1,049 price for this configuration, with US, EU, UK, JP and AU plug options.
The Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 has 12 cores and 24 threads, with boost clocks up to 5.2 GHz and 24MB of L3 cache. AMD lists the integrated Radeon 890M with 16 graphics cores and a 3100 MHz graphics frequency. It is part of the Gorgon Point family, a refresh of Strix Point.

Bosgame advertises up to 86 TOPS of total AI compute, including 55 TOPS from the dedicated NPU. The company says the system can run local AI workloads such as Llama 3 8B through Ollama, ComfyUI image generation and OpenAI Whisper transcription without cloud access.
The VTA-439 also includes an OCuLink connector for external GPU setups. Bosgame lists the port as external GPU capable, while Fast Technology claims the system can be paired with GPUs up to the GeForce RTX 5090 class. Since this is still a PCIe 4.0 x4 connection, the GPU will not run at full desktop PCIe bandwidth.
The rest of the platform is focused on upgradeability. The mini PC supports up to 256GB of DDR5-5600 memory through two SO-DIMM slots and up to three M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs. Networking includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and dual 2.5GbE LAN.
