Cooler Master MasterFlow add-on fan
A new GPU cooling accessory designed to redirect hot air from modern graphics cards outside the PC case.
When I first saw the pictures, I thought this was some kind of blower-fan attachment for single-slot GPUs. It is the opposite. MasterFlow is designed for modern, thick graphics cards with pass-through coolers. Cooler Master’s idea is to Instead of letting that hot air stay inside the case, the accessory pulls it out through the rear expansion slot. Basically it’s a a blower-style add-on for open-air GPU coolers.
The accessory is installed above the graphics card, usually in an unused expansion slot. It uses a small radial fan to pull hot air from the card’s pass-through cooler area and exhaust it through the rear of the case. This design targets graphics cards with open cooler sections near the end of the PCB. Many GeForce RTX 50 series cards use this layout, which allows hot air to pass through the heatsink and move toward the CPU area.
Cooler Master says MasterFlow can lower CPU temperatures by around 4°C to 6°C. The company claims the accessory is more useful with higher-power cards, with Hermitage Akihabara reporting that Cooler Master mentioned GeForce RTX 5070 Ti or higher models as the target class.
The final connector has not been decided yet. Cooler Master is still choosing between options such as a 4-pin PWM fan header or USB Type-C. GDM reports that the product is planned for release this year, with Cooler Master aiming for a price below 3,000 yen, or about $19 before taxes . PC Gamer reports that Cooler Master plans to use MasterFlow in its own prebuilt systems. A standalone retail release has not been confirmed.
