SPARKLE shows dual-GPU Thunderbolt 5 eGPU dock
SPARKLE has shown a new external GPU dock at Computex 2026, and this one is different from the usual eGPU enclosure. The eGPU Studio-G Dual appears to support two desktop graphics cards through two internal PCIe slots.
Most external GPU docks are built around a single PCIe slot. That includes SPARKLE’s own Studio-G Ultra 850 , which we covered earlier this year. That model uses Thunderbolt 5 and an 850W ATX 3.1 power supply, with enough room for a large 3.5-slot graphics card.
Dual graphics cards over Thunderbolt 5
The new Studio-G Dual appears to expand that idea into a larger enclosure for multi-GPU setups. According to the booth placard, the dock supports Thunderbolt 5 and has a built-in ATX 3.1 power supply rated above 1600W. The exact PSU rating is not clear from the image. though.
This is not really a product for gaming multi-GPU setups, which are mostly gone from consumer graphics cards. The more realistic use case is compute, rendering, AI inference, or creator workloads where two GPUs can run separate tasks. Thunderbolt 5 still limits the host connection, so both graphics cards would likely share available external bandwidth.

SPARKLE also showed other eGPU products at Computex, including the eGPU Creator Station with a built-in GeForce RTX 3060 12GB GPU and Thunderbolt 5 support. All of these devices are said to support Intel Thunderbolt Share, which allows PC-to-PC connectivity over Thunderbolt 4 or Thunderbolt 5.
