EZDIY-FAB made a 16-pin GPU power cable that pretends to be watercooling

16-pin GPU cable as RGB fake water tube

We are not yet at the point where we have water-cooled GPU power cables (but we are getting close). EZDIY made something that may serve as an interim solution. EZDIY-FAB has developed the UNIFAS ARGB PSU extension cable DC16L, a 16-pin 12V-2×6 extension cable that looks like it belongs in a liquid-cooling loop.

The cable uses a unified tube-like design with ARGB lighting. It is meant to visually match AIO tubing, so the GPU power cable can look like part of the cooling setup instead of the thick cable everyone tries to hide. The Amazon listing mentions a 12V-2×6 PCIe 5.1 connector, 16AWG wiring, 5V ARGB motherboard sync and STD/RVS versions for different connector orientations.

EZDIY-FAB is also showing the ALPHA TS13 Temp-Sensing GPU Power Adapter. This is a 16-pin adapter with a built-in display for monitoring GPU power and temperature. UNIKO’s Hardware spotted both the UNIFAS DC16L cable and the ALPHA TS13 adapter at Computex.

This is still a 16-pin GPU power accessory, so users should treat fitment and full connector seating as the boring part that cannot be skipped. EZDIY-FAB also warns buyers to check clearance around the GPU power socket before installing the cable. That is probably the least funny part, but also the one that prevents the RGB tube from becoming a smoke machine.

why not using something nice in this cruel world? ezdiy-fab provides an illusion of watercooling the whole 16pin cable. it lights up too.

meet the 16pin extension cable and the adpter that shows temps and power.
