ASRock shows unreleased Phantom Gaming Radeon design with 12V-2×6 power connector
ASRock has shown a new Phantom Gaming graphics card design at Computex 2026. The card was displayed at the company’s booth, but it was not announced as a retail product.
According to TweakTown, the prototype uses Radeon RX 9070 XT hardware . ASRock reportedly said the card is a next-generation Phantom Gaming design being tested with new cooling and a revised shroud.
The card also uses a 12V-2×6 power connector. This is still uncommon for Radeon cards, although ASRock already uses the connector on its Radeon RX 9070 XT Taichi model. Most Radeon RX 9070 XT cards use dual 8-pin power connectors instead, but ASRock did explore this power connector for its premium models like Taichi series.

The card may simply be an internal cooler test for the current RDNA 4 flagship. It may also preview a design ASRock plans to reuse later, perhaps for a future Radeon series.
ASRock already has several Radeon RX 9070 series designs, including Taichi, Steel Legend and Challenger. The company also released a 12V-2×6 cable with temperature monitoring earlier this year, which fits its wider move toward 16-pin power support on Radeon products.
