Minisforum N4 is a compact Wildcat Lake NAS with 10GbE

Minisforum is preparing another NAS based on Intel Core Series 3, also known as Wildcat Lake. The new model is called N4 and was shown at Computex 2026 as a compact 4-bay system for 3.5-inch hard drives.
This follows the All-Flash S5 and S7 systems that Minisforum and Intel showed last month. Those models focused on NVMe storage. T he N4 instead uses a more common NAS layout with four hard drive bays and two M.2 slots.
According to Liliputing, the N4 uses a 6-core Wildcat Lake processor with two Performance cores and four Low-Power Efficient cores. Minisforum has not confirmed the exact SKU yet. Notebookcheck suggests the chip should be at least the Core 3 305, which boosts up to 4.3 GHz.

The system is listed with up to 16GB of onboard LPDDR memory . This means memory upgrades are unlikely. The platform still brings two M.2 slots, each wired for PCIe 4.0 x1, which should be enough for cache or small SSD pools but not full NVMe bandwidth.
The port selection includes 10GbE, 2.5GbE, Wi-Fi 7, USB4 Type-C, two USB-A ports, HDMI and DC power input. The chassis uses a metal body, and the hard drives are accessed by removing the top cover.
Minisforum has not confirmed pricing or a release date for the N4. The product page currently lists the system as “Coming Soon,” alongside other Computex 2026 devices from the company.
