Intel LGA-1954 motherboard listing includes Q970 chipset and 128GB DDR5-CUDIMM
Intel’s upcoming 900-series business platform has appeared in what looks like a commercial motherboard specification sheet. The board is listed with the LGA-1954 socket and Intel Q970 PCH, both tied to the next desktop platform.
The listing mentions support for “Intel Core Ultra 300S series DT processors.” This may be an old placeholder, since recent Nova Lake-S leaks point to Core Ultra 400S branding for Intel’s next desktop CPUs. It is also possible that commercial or embedded boards use separate documentation before final product naming is locked.
First Q970 board specs appear
The leaked board is a Micro ATX design with two DDR5-CUDIMM slots and support for up to 128GB of memory. The graphics output list includes one HDMI 2.1 port, two DisplayPort 1.4a ports and one DisplayPort output through an internal header.

The expansion slot list includes one PCIe x16 Gen5 slot, one PCIe x16 slot wired as x8 Gen5, one PCIe x4 Gen5 slot and one PCIe x4 Gen4 slot. Storage support includes four SATA III ports and NVMe support, with M.2 Key-M and M.2 Key-E slots also listed.
The board also shows typical commercial features. These include TPM 2.0, watchdog timer support, serial ports, digital I/O and multiple LAN controllers. The LAN section lists one Intel I226V controller with 2.5GbE support and two Intel I219LM controllers with 1GbE support.
Q970 is expected to be part of Intel’s 900-series chipset stack for LGA-1954, alongside B960, Z970, Z990 and W980 . Previous leaks already linked these chipsets to Nova Lake-S and Intel’s next desktop socket. This new listing is the first one we have seen with a full Q970 board spec sheet.
