AMD B650 chipset on a PCIe add-in card
All in Expansion Card, a PCIe add-in card based on AMD’s Promontory 21 chipset. This is the same chipset family used for AMD AM5 motherboards, including B650 and higher-end dual-chipset X670/X870 designs.
The card is priced at $199 without additional cables. WisdPi also lists a 40 cm OCuLink-to-OCuLink cable and a 40 cm OCuLink-to-4×SATA cable for $15 each. The card uses a PCIe 4.0 x4 host interface. WisdPi lists the board at 175×70 mm, with support for x86 and ARM systems using standard PCIe, including AMD, Intel, Mac Silicon, and Raspberry Pi 5 platforms.

The rear I/O includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port at 20Gbps and four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports at 10Gbps. The card also has six internal USB 2.0 front-panel headers, four M.2 slots, and one OCuLink port.
WisdPi says the OCuLink port can multiplex PCIe and SATA signals. Users can switch between modes through an onboard DIP switch. The card also has an external power connector, an aluminum heatsink, and a fan header.

Such expansion cards are not new but have kicked off recently. Minisforum is already working on their card as well. And just a year ago, such projects were only custom-made .
