JWAWAKEN LS5 mini PC has Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 option but no listed OCuLink

JWAWAKEN has listed the LS5 mini PC, a compact AMD system with two processor options. The system is offered with Ryzen 7 H 255 or Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 processors, putting it in the same category as recent high-end mini PCs based on AMD mobile APUs.

The LS5 measures 142 × 135 × 50 mm . The design uses a front-to-rear airflow layout, with intake at the front and exhaust at the rear. The company also uses a tray-style internal structure. After removing four screws, users can pull out the internal assembly to access the memory and storage.

The system supports two DDR5 SO-DIMM memory slots and two M.2 2280 SSD slots. Both storage slots use PCIe Gen4 x4. Wireless connectivity is handled by a Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 module.

The front panel includes USB-C 3.2, USB-A 10Gbps and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Rear I/O includes a full-function USB-C 40Gbps port, USB-A 10Gbps, two USB-A 480Mbps ports, HDMI 2.1 FRL, DisplayPort 2.1, 10GbE RJ45, DC input and another 3.5 mm audio jack. The listed specifications do not mention OCuLink, which appears on some competing Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 mini PCs.

The Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 is a Gorgon Point APU with 12 cores and 24 threads. AMD lists it with four Zen 5 cores, eight Zen 5c cores, up to 5.2 GHz boost, Radeon 890M graphics with 16 GPU cores and a 55 TOPS XDNA 2 NPU. AMD lists total AI performance at up to 86 TOPS.

The Ryzen 7 H 255 is a China-market Hawk Point processor. It has 8 Zen 4 cores, 16 threads, up to 4.9 GHz boost and Radeon 780M graphics with 12 GPU cores. AMD’s own specification page lists Ryzen AI as “Not Available” for this SKU.

Pricing for the JWAWAKEN LS5 has not been confirmed yet.
