3DMark adds native Arm support to DirectX 12 feature tests
Speed Way and Port Royal now run natively on Arm PCs.

UL Solutions has released a new 3DMark update for Windows-on-Arm systems. The update expands native Arm support to more GPU benchmarks and DirectX 12 feature tests.
The main change is native Windows-on-Arm support for Speed Way and Port Royal . Both are ray tracing benchmarks, with Speed Way focused on DirectX 12 Ultimate workloads and Port Royal focused on DirectX Raytracing performance. Users will no longer have to use translation layer to run such benchmarks.
The update also adds native Arm support for several 3DMark feature tests. This includes Mesh Shader, Sampler Feedback, DirectX Raytracing, PCI Express and VRS.

These tests will now run natively by default on supported Windows-on-Arm systems. 3DMark also adds a new UI indicator showing whether a workload is running natively on Arm or through x64 emulation.
UL Solutions has also added a manual toggle for 3DMark for Enterprise and 3DMark Reviewers license holders. This allows reviewers and companies to compare native Arm runs with x64 emulated runs. These results will be treated as custom 3DMark runs.

- Added an option to select between native Windows-on-Arm and x64-emulated custom runs on Arm devices for users with 3DMark for Enterprise or 3DMark Reviewers’ licenses.
