ROG Crosshair X870E beta BIOS updates to AGESA 1.3.0.1b with EXPO ULL
ASUS has posted new beta BIOS builds for its ROG Crosshair X870E series motherboards. The update is based on AGESA ComboAM5 1.3.0.1b and adds support for AMD EXPO Technology: Featuring Ultra Low Latency.
The files were shared through the ASUS ROG forum, and these are not stable final releases, mind you. The post lists BIOS 2305 for most ROG Crosshair X870E boards, while selected models use BIOS 0915 or 0515.
The update applies to the ROG Crosshair X870E Hero, Hero BTF, Dark Hero, Apex, Extreme, Glacial, Crosshair 2006 and Crosshair X870E Edition 20.

Do not use older versions of cmo files, they may cause problems with agesa 1301b bios (Compatible with same agesa version BIOS)
1. Update to AGESA ComboAM5 1.3.0.1b
2. Supports AMD EXPO Technology: Featuring Ultra Low Latency.
3. Add setup item “Tccd_L” / “TccdL_WR” / “TccdL_WR2” under Ai Tweaker – DRAM Timing Control
4. Supports ROG ARCANA DDR5 20TH
The beta BIOS also adds three DRAM timing options under Ai Tweaker and DRAM Timing Control. These are “Tccd_L,” “TccdL_WR” and “TccdL_WR2,” which are low-level timing controls intended for DDR5 tuning.
ASUS also lists support for ROG ARCANA DDR5 20TH. This is the ROG 20th anniversary DDR5 memory kit, which ASUS previously showed with 48GB capacity, DDR5-6000 speed and CL26 timings.
AMD announced EXPO Ultra Low Latency at Computex 2026. According to AMD, certified EXPO ULL kits can provide a 4% average FPS increase compared with non-ULL EXPO memory, based on AMD testing with a Ryzen 7 9700X system. Compatible memory kits are expected from certified partners starting June 2026.
This follows earlier ASUS AM5 BIOS updates based on AGESA 1.3.0.1b , which already added the same DDR5 timing controls to selected X870 and X870E motherboards. These new files focus on the ROG Crosshair X870E lineup, while the forum post says other boards are expected to receive uploads this week or next week.
