Lenovo price hike may hit all consumer product lines in July
Lenovo may raise prices again after China’s 618 shopping festival.

Lenovo is reportedly preparing another price increase across its consumer product line in China. According to Finance Sina, the company decided on the change during an internal work meeting in May.
The new pricing is expected to take effect in July, after China’s 618 shopping festival ends . The report claims the increase will apply across Lenovo’s consumer product categories, including laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones, monitors, office accessories and smart home products.
This would be Lenovo’s second major price adjustment this year. In March, the company reportedly sent a price adjustment letter to channel partners in China. Some PC models were said to increase by more than 1,000 RMB , or roughly $148.
According to publicly available information at the time, Lenovo had already officially issued a product price adjustment letter to all channel partners and collaborators nationwide, with the retail price of some popular computer models increasing by more than 1,000 yuan.

According to the report, the July increase will be similar to the previous adjustment. Some distributors have reportedly already received notices to stock up before the new prices are applied.
The report links the increase to higher component costs, mainly DRAM and NAND Flash. Memory prices have been under pressure since late 2025 as AI server demand competes with PC and consumer electronics supply.
Just a few weeks ago we covered Lenovo’s earlier warning to partners in February, when the company asked them to place orders before expected March price changes. That warning was also tied to rising memory costs. It’s a never-ending increase, I guess.
