GPD MicroPC 2 upgraded to Core 3 N350, still uses 7-inch 1080p display
Twin Lake refresh for the 7-inch handheld laptop.
GPD has updated the MicroPC 2 with a newer Intel Core 3 Processor N350 option. This is still the same 7-inch mini handheld laptop aimed at field work, compact productivity and users who need built-in wired networking in a pocket-sized Windows system.
This follows the earlier MicroPC 2 configurations with Intel Processor N250 and Core i3-N300.

The new Core 3 N350 is a Twin Lake part with 8 cores and 8 threads. Intel lists the processor with 6MB of cache, a 7W processor base power and up to 3.9 GHz boost clock. Compared with the Core i3-N300, the main change is a 100 MHz higher CPU boost clock.
The graphics update is also small. Both chips use Intel integrated graphics with 32 Execution Units. The Core 3 N350 raises the maximum graphics frequency from 1.25 GHz on the Core i3-N300 to 1.35 GHz. This is not a new graphics configuration, only a clock update.

The rest of the MicroPC 2 spec remains familiar. The system has a 7-inch 1920×1080 LTPS touchscreen with 60Hz refresh rate and 500 nits brightness. It measures 171.2 × 110.8 × 23.5 mm, weighs around 490 grams and includes a 27.5Wh battery with 45W USB-C PD charging.
GPD lists the MicroPC 2 with 16GB LPDDR5-4800 memory and M.2 2280 NVMe storage options. The I/O includes two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1, 2.5GbE Ethernet, microSD, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The current GPD Store listing shows MicroPC 2 pricing from $729.95 to $1,272.95 depending on configuration and condition.
It goes without saying that choosing any Wildcat Lake laptop with a much more modern architecture would be a better option overall, unless you specifically need an ultra-small PC.
