AM5 board with Wi-Fi 6E and two DDR5 slots
GIGABYTE has listed the B840M FORCE WIFI6E, a new Micro ATX motherboard for AMD Socket AM5 processors. The board uses the AMD B840 chipset and supports Ryzen 9000, Ryzen 8000 and Ryzen 7000 series CPUs.
The board follows GIGABYTE’s Force design with a black PCB and orange heatsinks (racing inspired?). It would definitely match the Manli Gallardo GPU series , since Gigabyte no longer offers orange GPUs. This is a lower-cost AM5 design, but it still includes several tuning features usually promoted on gaming models.

GIGABYTE advertises support for X3D Turbo Mode . This BIOS feature is meant for Ryzen X3D processors and applies platform-level tuning for cache-aware gaming performance. The company also lists D5 Bionic Corsa, its DDR5 memory tuning feature.
The B840M FORCE WIFI6E has two DDR5 DIMM slots. GIGABYTE lists support for up to DDR5-8200 OC and up to 128GB capacity. The board uses an 8+2+2 phase digital VRM design with a 2X copper PCB.

B840 means no PCIe Gen5
The main PCIe x16 slot is wired to the CPU and supports PCIe 4.0 x16 with Ryzen 9000 and Ryzen 7000 processors. With Ryzen 8000 Phoenix 1 APUs, it runs at PCIe 4.0 x8, while Phoenix 2 APUs are limited to PCIe 4.0 x4.
Storage includes two M.2 slots. One is connected to the CPU and supports PCIe 4.0 x4/x2 SSDs. The second slot comes from the chipset and runs at PCIe 3.0 x2. The board also includes four SATA 6Gb/s ports. This is not GIGABYTE’s first B840 board, but it is one of the more visually distinct models in the lower AM5 chipset lineup.
