ASUS 600-series AM5 boards start receiving EXPO Ultra Low Latency BIOS updates
ASUS and MSI have started bringing AMD EXPO Ultra Low Latency support to older AM5 motherboards. The feature is now appearing on selected 600-series boards through new BIOS updates based on AGESA ComboAM5 1.3.0.1b.
X670E gets EXPO ULL support
The current X670E list includes ROG Crosshair X670E Hero, Gene and Extreme. ASUS also lists ROG Strix X670E-A, X670E-E, X670E-F and ProArt X670E Creator WiFi with BIOS 3803 download links. The ROG Strix X670E-I Gaming WiFi, TUF Gaming X670E-Plus and TUF Gaming X670E-Plus WiFi are still listed with placeholder “38XX” BIOS names, so those builds do not appear to be available yet.

The update adds three DRAM timing controls under Ai Tweaker and DRAM Timing Control. These are “TccdL”, “TccdL_WR” and “TccdL_WR2”. ASUS also lists support for ROG ARCANA DDR5 20TH, its 20th anniversary DDR5 memory kit.
This follows our earlier coverage of ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E beta BIOSes based on AGESA 1.3.0.1b. The current update extends the same memory support to parts of the older X670E lineup, but these are still beta releases, so users with stable systems may prefer to wait for final BIOS builds.

MSI has also started publishing AGESA PI-1.3.0.1b BIOS updates with the same “Optimized with AMD EXPO Technology: Featuring Ultra Low Latency” note for selected AM5 boards. This confirms the feature is moving beyond X870 and X870E boards, although availability still depends on each vendor and motherboard model.=
AMD Ultra Low Latency
AMD introduced EXPO Ultra Low Latency as part of the EXPO 1.2 memory update. According to AMD data covered earlier, EXPO ULL targets tighter DDR5 sub-timings and lower latency. AMD claimed up to 4% higher average FPS versus regular EXPO and up to 13% versus JEDEC DDR5 in its Ryzen 7 9700X test system.
