ASUS ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20 includes four 16-pin GPU cables
The limited edition PSU includes four ROG Equalizer 12V-2×6 cables for four GeForce RTX 5090 cards. No fire extinguisher, though.
ASUS has listed the ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20 power supply at €999. This is the company’s new limited edition PSU shown during Computex as part of the ROG 20th anniversary lineup.
The PSU is designed for extreme desktop and workstation systems. ASUS claims support for up to four GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards at once, which explains both the 3000W rating and the cable configuration.
For GPU power, ASUS includes four 16-pin ROG Equalizer cables. Yes, the same cable about which we reported today , though I will add that it wasn’t the best information for potential owners. The package contains one “ROG Equalizer 12V-2×6 PCI-E Cable with GPU-First” and three additional ROG Equalizer 12V-2×6 PCIe cables. Yes, there are four in the box.
The PSU is advertised as supporting a quad RTX 5090 setup, so I guess it makes sense:

ASUS lists the unit as an ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 compatible power supply with 80 Plus Titanium certification. The full 3000W output is available on 220V to 240V input (Europe), while the PSU is limited to 1600W on 115V input (for American users). The specifications also mention 250A on the 12V rail in the 3000W mode.

The first retailer to list the new PSU has it priced at €999, although it is not in stock yet. That is a lot for a power supply, but for anyone already planning a quad RTX 5090 setup, it is probably pocket money.
