Intel roadmap reportedly lists NVIDIA RTX SoCs for early 2028

Erdi Özüağ, a former editor at Turkish tech site DonanimHaber and now a YouTube-based tech reporter, has reached out to VideoCardz with exclusive information on Intel’s first client processors with NVIDIA graphics.
According to Erdi, Intel’s current roadmap lists the first x86 processors with NVIDIA RTX graphics for the first quarter of 2028. This would line up with a possible CES 2028 announcement, though Intel has not confirmed any product name, configuration, or launch date.
Serpent Canyon: Intel and NVIDIA RTX SoC in 2028
The information appears to refer to the same client SoC project announced by Intel and NVIDIA in September 2025 . At the time, both companies confirmed plans for Intel x86 system-on-chips integrating NVIDIA RTX GPU chiplets for PCs.
These processors are reportedly part of the Serpent Lake family. The name has appeared in earlier roadmap leaks as a branch of Intel’s future client platform plans. Erdi claims that Serpent Lake would use Intel CPU technology and an NVIDIA RTX GPU tile in the same package.

No specifications have been confirmed. The GPU tile configuration, memory support, package design, and process technology are still unknown. It is also unclear whether the NVIDIA tile would include its own display and media blocks, or whether Intel would keep part of that logic on a separate tile.
Kaby Lake-G: Intel and AMD Vega
The concept is not entirely new for Intel. The company previously shipped Kaby Lake-G , a mobile processor that paired an Intel CPU die with AMD Radeon RX Vega M graphics on the same package. The NVIDIA project would follow a different approach, since Intel and NVIDIA have already confirmed a formal partnership around x86 RTX SoCs.
Personally I have not heard anything about 2028 for this product, but it makes sense given it would be 2.5 years after the announcement. I will provide an update should I hear something official or semiofficial.
